After New York and Dubai, the Parisian house makes its final pitstop in the South of France for Dior: Art of Colour

Anyone who has closely&nbsp;followed&nbsp;the evolution of Dior would know that the Parisian fashion house has always been renowned for one thing:&nbsp;its&nbsp;unapologetic use of colours &ndash;&nbsp;an integral part of the maison&#39;s&nbsp;identity since its debut <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/events-and-parties/christian-dior-couturier-du-reve-70-anniversary-exhibition-musee-des-arts-decoratifs-in-paris-2017" target="_blank">70 years ago</a>.&nbsp;

In October last year, Dior published&nbsp;Dior: The Art of Colour, a narrative that documents the house&#39;s kaleidoscopic journey across the colour spectrum through the eras and its history&nbsp;in 12 chromatic chapters. The book presents the evolution of the brand&#39;s definition of beauty, boasting&nbsp;iconic works from distinguished artists and its three past and current&nbsp;heads of Dior Makeup &ndash;&nbsp;Serge Lutens, Tyen and Peter Philips, the&nbsp;current Creative and Image Director.&nbsp;

After making appearances&nbsp;in&nbsp;New York and Dubai, the book-turned-exhibition has finally&nbsp;made its way to the South of France,&nbsp;taking over&nbsp;the&nbsp;Galerie du Clo&icirc;tre in Arles. Running until 24 September, the exhibition is held&nbsp;as part of the annual Rencontres d&#39;Arles photography festival in support of the&nbsp;LUMA Foundation&#39;s Photography archive programme, which honours&nbsp;the celebrated American photographer Annie Leibovitz.&nbsp;

Earlier this week, Bella Hadid, Winnie Harlow, Jeanne Damas, and other A-listers attended the opening Dior: Art of Colour. Together with Peter Philips, they discovered the expressionist-accented films of Serge Lutens, the sensual aesthetic of Tyen&rsquo;s photographs, and the visual homages to color orchestrated by Richard Burbridge and Philips.&nbsp;
