Macro Glitters

Holiday parties are the best time to go all out with sparkly details. Forget micro shimmers and tiny specks of glitter; this holiday, we&rsquo;re bringing in the big guns. Macro glitters are a great makeup topper to add to your daily makeup look, and they&rsquo;re more versatile than you think. Just like Blackpink's Jennie, you can pat on a line of macro glitters across the middle of your face; focus on the middle of your nose bridge and spread it outwards horizontally. If you&rsquo;re up for a full-glam look, you can layer the macro glitters onto your eyelids for added intensity.&nbsp;

Halo Eyes

Halo eyes are a great way to create depth for your holiday looks. Although this look requires some time to blend out the different shadows deftly, it's still relatively easy to achieve. To recreate a look that's similar to Doja Cat&rsquo;s, start by applying eyeshadow primer or light concealer all over the lid, followed by a nude-tone shadow over the centre of the eyelid. Next, dab a dark purple (with a grey undertone) onto two spots of the eye, one on the inner third and another on the outer third of your lids. Now all that&rsquo;s left is blending till the colours bleed into each other. You can finish your halo eye look with a clear gloss or a sweep of your favourite champagne shimmer.

Rhinestones

Large rhinestones have been making a comeback lately, with all the Blackpink members rocking them throughout their Born Pink tour. We especially love Lisa&rsquo;s take on the rhinestone trend, creating a constellation of the gems on the apples of her cheeks for a look that&rsquo;s equal parts cute and glam. You can also opt for a line of gems along your brows, for something simpler that won&rsquo;t take up too much time. Just make sure to start with dry skin as natural facial oils do make the rhinestones slide off more easily.

Duochromes

The ultimate experimental look for this season can be achieved with duochromes. Whether it&rsquo;s on the lips or through dramatic graphic liners, duochromes are great for jazzing up otherwise simple makeup looks. And the holidays are the time to let your fun side out. These two- (sometimes three-)&nbsp; toned products, like water-activated liners, chrome flakes and lip glosses, sure pack a punch. You can start off with a simple eyeshadow look to play with the colour shifts, but don&rsquo;t be afraid to create abstract liner shapes for a makeup look that&rsquo;s truly unforgettable.
