What is Rosehip oil?&nbsp;&nbsp;What are its main uses and benefits?

Rosehip oil is traditionally known for its therapeutic properties and great regenerative power . It is extracted from the species Rosa Aff rubiginosa oil (or Rose Hips), originally from Asia and now widely traded in Chile.

Rich in polyunsaturated essential fatty acids (AGE), it promotes cell renewal of the epidermis and acts very well on the hair, face, body and nails of the feet and hands. It is commonly used in small dry and punctual areas that require a extra hydration, such as hands, feet, face, scars, soft spots, or lips and eye area. Internationally prescribed by surgeons for scar reduction and surgical powders. It acts directly to heal the skin, aiding in giving it a smooth texture and&nbsp;reduce possible keloids.

How Can We&nbsp;Use Rosehip oil?

Firstly, it is excellent for removing makeup&nbsp;when used alone. It is also great as a moisturiser. Simply drop&nbsp;3 drops of oil on a cotton swab and wipe over dry skin, passing around the eyes, and spreading the residual over your face, leaving it on your&nbsp;skin all night.

For the body, I&#39;d recommend always using it in combination with another vegetable oil, such as sweet almonds, avocado or grape seed. In this case, measure 10% rosehip with&nbsp;the rest of the other vegetable oils, and mix until you get the desired density and texture.

Its sensory touch is very pleasant, with a unique scent.&nbsp;It can be used purely&nbsp;on the lips for colds and mild sunburn, as well as on the feet and nails against intense cracking and dryness.&nbsp;

What is the best way to use Rosehip oil?

On the hair (before washing): For dry, flaking scalp, combine Rosehip oil&nbsp;with jojoba oil, half and half,&nbsp;and add &nbsp;1 drop of lavender essential oil and 1 drop of cedar essential oil. Apply to dry and clean hair overnight.&nbsp;Wash off and condition the next day.

On the face: Use it standalone at night, which can help with the&nbsp;balancing and hydrating yout&nbsp;your skin. Before applying the oil, make sure that your skin is balanced with a toner, or rinsing with&nbsp;geranium or lavender thermal water on clean, dry skin, letting it dry naturally.Then apply Rosehip oil directly on your&nbsp;face to get its&nbsp;anti-aging, deep hydrating&nbsp;and balancing benefits.

Is it suitable for all ages?

Rosehip oil is a vegetable oil and because it is natural and without preservatives or aggressive chemicals, it can be used at all ages. It has a combination of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, helping to combat oxidation and skin stress. In addition, this oil is rich in vitamins : A, C, E, B1 and B2,

When can we start using Rosehip oil?

Anytime - it&#39;s suitable for all skin types, and best suited for mature skin, given its anti-ageing benefits.&nbsp;I&#39;d recommend it for women from 15 years old to elderly, and post menopause.

Can I only use it if indicated by the dermatologist? How do I know that I need to use oil in my skincare ritual?

It is always good to have a recommendation from a dermatologist or health professional, when there is a specific reason for this use, but it is an oil that is widely used for skin maintenance, daily at night.

To find out about the legitimacy of the oil you will need to trust the company that is supplying the oil. Research how long they&#39;ve&nbsp;had it in the market, what botanical species the company is working on, if the oil is pure, ask for the oil&#39;s technical sheet to know its origin and discover the molecular activities composed in this product.
