Now, the torch has been passed on to another member of royalty: Meghan Markle, who always calls upon her whenever she needs to look her best for important events.

In a recent interview, she analyses and delivers how the duchesses usually prefer their looks. "I'm directly inspired by the person I'm working with, from their natural beauty to the occasion we're creating the look for," she shares.

"Royal makeup is not about trends, but about classic and timeless beauty," she reveals. Despite the naturally lit look, the acclaimed makeup artist avoids bright or high-impact highlighters and prefers a radiant blush instead to guarantee the classic natural and shiny finish. She typically spreads the creamy and liquid products with her fingers and finishes by applying loose powder on the oily areas of the face to avoid excess shine.
