On RuPaul&#39;s Drag Race, avant garde fashion is the norm. Host RuPaul Charles, the self-proclaimed &quot;supermodel of the world,&quot; has delivered to our screens fashion extravaganza week after week ever since the show first aired in February 2009. This is one of the reasons why the fashion world loves this&nbsp;drag queen competition: it&#39;s a celebration of exploring identity and maximizing self-expression through dress.&nbsp;

This fashion funfest has cultivated a devoted fanbase all&nbsp;across the globe, including an array of well-known designers and supermodels. After competing on the show, queens have also forayed&nbsp;even further into the fashion industry. Winners and L&#39;OFFICIEL stars Aquaria and Violet Chachki&nbsp;have worked with a number of luxury labels and&nbsp;become models in their own right.

Before becoming fashion week fixtures, however, the series&#39; 12 seasons (and several spin-offs)-worth of contestants had to face some of the biggest names in the industry. From Marc Jacobs, Winne Harlow, Lady Gaga to&nbsp;Gigi Hadid, check out&nbsp;10 of the queen&#39;s fashion powerhouse friends&nbsp;that have starred as&nbsp;guest judges on&nbsp;Drag Race.

Legendary costumer and Bob Mackie, who has created custom looks for RuPaul himself, has made several appearances as guest judge.

Marc Jacobs cast ‘Drag Race’ alumni Milk in his brand’s Spring 2016 campaign and also made a judge cameo on the show shortly after in Season 8.

Designer and reality star Nicole Richie joined judges Michelle Visage, Ross Mathews, Carson Kressley, and RuPaul in Season 8.

Supermodel Gigi Hadid appeared on Season 8 to judge Snatch Game in this vibrant ‘80s-inspired look.

Fashion and music icon Lady Gaga made a memorable appearance as one of the first guest judges to go backstage and talk with the queens in Season 9.

Designer Jason Wu appeared as a guest judge on Season 4 of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars,’ and also released a glam doll collaboration with the host.

Moschino's Jeremy Scott is known for his campy aesthetic, which resonates in the world of drag. The designer appeared on the show in 2018 and also cast Violet Chachki to close two of Moschino’s runway shows.

Supermodel and longtime fan of the show Cara Delevingne guest judged the 2019 episode "Monster Ball."

Model Winnie Harlow was a guest judge on the latest season alongside U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. While fans were left unimpressed by Harlow’s cameo, the model has paid tribute to RuPaul, dressing up as the drag queen several times in a red latex bodysuit and boots.
