That was exactly the story of Russian&nbsp;<strong>Anna Sorokin,</strong> who was released from prison earlier this&nbsp;February, after being found guilty in 2019 of scamming the social elite out of thousands of dollars by posing as a rich German heiress. She lived the high life, dressed in <strong>Celine</strong> and <strong>Balenciaga,</strong> and travelling&nbsp;in private jets, spending thousands of dollars a night in New York City&#39;s hottest restaurants. It was just a big cover, though: she promised fake wire transfers, made huge loans, and even forced her wealthy friends&nbsp;to pay her bills. Sounds exactly like a drama waiting to happen, right?&nbsp;</p>

<p style="text-align:justify">Well, her story has been picked up and turned into a drama by Netflix, where <em>Ozark</em> star <strong>Julia Garner </strong>is set to play her, and expected to be released very soon. Titled &quot;Inventing Anna&quot;, the fake socialite is using&nbsp;money&nbsp;from the platform, which bought the rights to her history, to pay off&nbsp;refunds to the banks she&nbsp;defrauded, in addition to &nbsp;$24,000USD&nbsp;in fines.</p>

I just got out of prison, like two days ago. So it&rsquo;s me like getting all this stuff from Sephora, me opening a bank account as soon as I get permission from my parole officer. I&rsquo;m going to see my parole officer Tuesday for the first time. Things like that.
