The album boasts co-produced instrumentals by Kevin Parker from Tame Impala, with additional production by Danny L. Harle. The lyrics, co-written by Caroline Ailin and Tobias Jesso Jr., were showcased during her performance of "Training Season" at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
The album is inspired by <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/dua-lipa-best-style-fashion-moments-y2k-celebrity-outfits-looks" title="All Of Dua Lipa's Best Style Moments To Date" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lipa</a>'s self-discovery and taps into the concept of feeling joy and pure bliss over situations that previously felt out of control.&nbsp;
&ldquo;A couple years ago, a friend introduced me to the term Radical Optimism. It&rsquo;s a concept that resonated with me, and I became more curious as I started to play with it and weave it into my life,&rdquo; <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/dua-lipa-x-versace-la-vacanza-fashion-collaboration-butterfly-dress" title="Dua Lipa Co-Designs Her First Collection for Versace with the &quot;La Vacanza&quot; Show" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lipa</a> said in a press release. " It struck me &ndash; the idea of going through chaos gracefully and feeling like you can weather any storm. At the same time, I found myself looking through the music history of psychedelia, trip-hop, and Britpop. It has always felt so confidently optimistic to me, and that honesty and attitude are a feeling I took into my recording sessions.&rdquo;

The Grammy-award-winning singer has sung both "Houdini" and "Training Season" at numerous shows this awards season, including her opening act for the Brit Awards, where she sang &ldquo;Training Season,&rdquo; and her performance for the Grammy Awards, where she sang a medley of &ldquo;Training Season,&rdquo; &ldquo;Dance the Night,&rdquo; and &ldquo;Houdini.&rdquo;
