The nominations are out! New entries include Zendaya, for Euphoria, and Paul Mescal, for Normal People.

It&rsquo;s been quite the year to celebrate the gift of television!&nbsp;Even in the midst of a pandemic, the 2020 Emmys will still be premiering live on ABC,&nbsp; hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.&nbsp;

With former heavyweights Game of Thrones&nbsp;and Fleabag&nbsp;now out of the running, there is now room this year for previously underrated performances to be recognized.&nbsp;Nominees&nbsp;were just announced today,&nbsp; with Netflix sweeping&nbsp;the field for the most with&nbsp;160 nominations.

First time nominees include Zendaya, for Euphoria, and&nbsp;Paul Mescal, for Normal People.&nbsp;&nbsp;Snubs include&nbsp;Reese Witherspoon, who was eligible for three different shows (Big Little Lies, The Morning Show, and Little Fires Everywhere) but with no nominations.&nbsp; The hit TV show Westworld&nbsp;and the cast of FX&rsquo;s Pose,&nbsp;a series depicting the underground&nbsp;ballroom scene in 1980s New York, were also unfortunately left out this year.

Watchmen, Killing Eve, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel&nbsp;are some of the TV shows that took the most nods. You can watch the 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards at 8 pm EST on Sunday, September 20&mdash; but for now, here&rsquo;s a list of the major nominations:
