Limited edition prints inspired by the artist's recent 'Cherry Blossoms' series are being sold to benefit the humanitarian organisation's ongoing educational campaign

As the COVID-19 pandemic rages on across the globe, an increasing number of children and adolescents are now facing an educational poverty crisis. With no access to the technology required for engaging in remote learning activities, many have been forced to press pause on their education.&nbsp;

That is why the <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/Culture/visit-the-fondazione-prada-without-leaving-the-country-or-the-house">Fondazione Prada</a> is joining forces with renowned&nbsp;artist Damien Hirst to release four limited edition prints, with all profits from the sales of these works going to benefit humanitarian organisation Save the Children. Specifically, the &quot;Riscriviamo il Futuro&quot; (Rewriting the Future) initiative, which aims to support disadvantaged children in Italy&nbsp;that&nbsp;have been affected by school closures during this challenging period, in the belief that education and culture are crucial to the development of new generations.&nbsp;

Expanding on Hirst&#39;s new series of Cherry Blossoms paintings, these limited prints titled Fruitful and Forever feature brightly coloured, abstract compositions inspired by the art of Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh, Pierre Bonnard and the pointillist innovations of Georges Seurat. Depicting cherry blossom trees in full bloom, they depict close-up details of densely layered dabs of paint from sections of the original, large-scale canvases.&nbsp;

&quot;COVID-19 has been devastating for many people and families all over the world and lockdown has been really difficult, but especially difficult for children who haven&#39;t been able to go to school,&quot; stated Hirst. &quot;I&#39;m delighted to be working with Fondazione Prada to release these new prints to help with the brilliant work Save the Children are doing across Italy, giving free access to education and opportunities to thousands and thousands of children in need.&quot;
