From waitressing to working in a salon, here are the unexpected first jobs of some of our favourite stars.

Today, some of the biggest stars in the world&nbsp;have legions of fans, partake&nbsp;in major Hollywood productions and&nbsp;perform in the largest arenas around the world. But it was not always the case. Before reaching fame, names like Madonna,&nbsp;Oprah Winfrey and Nicole Kidman had their first normal jobs.&nbsp; From Beyonce to Margot Robbie, find out more about these stars&#39; first jobs below.

Today she holds&nbsp;the title of queen of pop, but things have not always been this way. In an interview with Howard Stern, the singer revealed that before she could make her music career she worked at Dunkin &#39;Donuts at Times Square, New York, but unfortunately she was fired in about a week. Apparently,&nbsp;her employers thought she was not taking the job for real, after she reportedly squirted jelly filling on a customer.&nbsp;

Since Beyonc&eacute; was a little girl, she had a voice but, unlike the stages she performs at today, her spectators were the clients of her mother&#39;s &ldquo;Headliners&rdquo; salon, and her first payments came through tips she earned sweeping the floor. In an interview for Essence, the singer reveals &quot;from the ages six&nbsp;to nine&nbsp;years old, I sang and did small shows alone for women who wanted a hot curl press and a good conversation&quot;. Then she says &quot;I helped sweep hair off the floor in search of tips to pay for my Six Flags season pass&quot;.

Gwyneth Paltrow

Today,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/Culture/gwyneth-paltrow-s-goop-holiday-gift-guide-is-ridiculous-but-awesome">Gwyneth</a> is a big Hollywood star and formidable entrepreneur,&nbsp;before she got there, the actress and businesswoman worked hard - since she was a child. &quot;My parents always gave me a job&quot; reveals Paltrow to Goop &quot;I&#39;m not sure how cool that was, but I worked after school at Penny Whistle Toys on Madison Avenue when I was twelve&quot;. She was also fired from the job: &quot;I got fired because I went on spring break, but I didn&#39;t tell my boss. I just didn&#39;t show up for duty. I thought the world stops when you go on spring break. I was devastated, but it was a good lesson.&quot;

Like Gwyneth, Margot Robbie started working at a very young age. In an interview with Chris Pratt during Jimmy Kimmel Live!&nbsp;the actress reveals that she worked in a restaurant when she was just 10 years old. &ldquo;I started at the back of the kitchen, polishing silverware. Then&nbsp;I moved on to peeling potatoes, and&nbsp;I started washing dishes and then I was a waitress &rdquo;. Robbie also reveals that at 14 she already worked behind the bar.

Nicole&#39;s first job was as a gatekeeper at the Capitol Theater in Sydney. &quot;I was only 14, but I was paid an adult salary&quot; revealed the actress to Marie Claire.

Before becoming a world famous actress, Gal Gadot received many offers to work as a model, but they did not appeal to her. In an interview with Rolling Stone she reveals &ldquo;I was like, &#39;Posing for money? It is not for me&quot;. Instead, Gadot chose to work at a Burger King.

People&#39;s first jobs do not always lead to good memories.&nbsp;For&nbsp;Oprah, that meant working in a grocery store close to home, next to her father&#39;s barber&#39;s shop, and she hated every minute of it.&nbsp;The reason for that? She was not allowed to speak to customers. &quot;I wasn&#39;t allowed to talk to the customers, and can you imagine for me?&quot; <a href="https://www.oprah.com/entertainment/oprahs-live-newscast-and-celebrities-first-jobs">she said.</a>&nbsp;&quot;That was very, very, very hard.&quot;

Before taking over the stage, Lady Gaga worked as a waitress in Manhattan. &ldquo;I was really good at that. I&nbsp;always got big tips. I always wore&nbsp;heels to work! &rdquo; reveals the singer in an interview for Elle. &quot;I told everyone stories.&quot;
