Baby ZiGi is here! Five months after <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/Culture/gigi-hadid-is-reportedly-pregnant-with-first-baby">news of her pregnancy broke</a>, supermodel <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/Culture/gigi-hadid-shares-the-first-photos-of-her-baby-bump-on-instagram">Gigi Hadid</a> and her partner Zayn Malik welcomed their first child into the world last weekend. Malik, who is notoriously private on social media, announced the arrival of their baby girl via Twitter on Wednesday night, accompanied by a black-and-white photo of his daughter gripping on to his hand. &nbsp;&nbsp;

&ldquo;Our baby girl is here, healthy and beautiful,&rdquo; the former One Direction singer wrote. &ldquo;To try and put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, [and] thankful for the life we will have together.&rdquo; Malik is the third member of One Direction to become a father, after Louis Tomlinson and <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/Culture/lofficielontour-week-5-jam-along-with-rita-ora-liam-payne-banks-and-more">Liam Payne</a>.

Gigi Hadid later shared another sweet photo of Malik with their little girl to her 58.9 million <a href="https://www.instagram.com/gigihadid/">Instagram </a>followers, saying &ldquo;Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she&rsquo;s already changed our world. So in love.&rdquo;

The duo&rsquo;s close friends and colleagues were quick to congratulate them on the news. &ldquo;Welcome babygirl! So happy for you guys,&rdquo; <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/here-are-the-at-home-photoshoots-marc-jacobs-hailey-bieber-and-more-are-participating-in">Hailey Bieber</a> noted on Hadid&rsquo;s post. &ldquo;Welcome sweet angel! Congrats Gi,&rdquo; <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/saint-laurent-s-kaia-bag-is-making-waves-among-the-stylish-set">Kaia Gerber</a> commented, while <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/beauty/interview-with-olivia-culpo-model-tv-host-former-miss-universe">Olivia Culpo</a> wrote &ldquo;Ahhhh!!!!! HUGE congrats!!!!! I can&rsquo;t wait to meet this angel.&rdquo;

Fans first speculated that Hadid had given birth when her father, real estate developer Mohamed Hadid, posted a (now-deleted) picture of a handwritten poem titled &lsquo;Grandfather&rsquo;s Heart&rsquo; on September 16. &ldquo;I wish for you the sun and moon, I wish for you a happy time. Know that grandpa&rsquo;s always here, I&rsquo;ll do anything, anything for you, my dear.&rdquo; Around the same time, sister and fellow supermodel <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/bella-hadid-and-xiao-wen-ju-are-the-new-faces-of-the-ambushxbvlgari-capsule-collection">Bella Hadid</a> captioned a snapshot of pregnant Gigi with &ldquo;I love you both so freaking much &mdash;&nbsp;can&rsquo;tstopcrying [sic]&rdquo;.
