Jung So-min, from Alchemy of Souls, is reportedly considering the leading female role for the series as well. Mom&rsquo;s Friend&rsquo;s Son tells the story of two young adults Bae Seok-ryu, and Choi Seung-hyo. Leading a difficult life, Bae Seok-ryu tries to turn her destiny around but she is confronted by Choi Seung-hyo&rsquo;s presence in her life, as her mother&rsquo;s friend&rsquo;s son. Choi Seung-hyo is a highly successful architect in Seoul, seemingly perfect in every way. But when it comes to Bae Seok-ryu, things get a little more complicated for him. As the duo reunites years after not meeting each other, the drama will take the audience on an emotional journey. The drama is supposed to start filming next year, and its premiere to set for the second half of 2024.
