Black Panther marks the first ever superhero film in history to be nominated Best Picture for the Academy Awards.

A list that everyone awaits with bated breath every year, the full nomination list of the 91st Academy Awards (Oscars 2019) has finally been announced and there are plenty of firsts this year.

For one, Black Panther becomes the first ever superhero film in the history of the Oscars to be nominated for Best Picture, while director of Roma,&nbsp;Alfonso Cuaron becomes the only director in history&nbsp;to be nominated for both best director and best cinematography in the same year.

Other nominees of the year include Lady Gaga (Best Actress, A Star Is Born), Rami Malek (Best Actor, Bohemian Rhapsody), Emma Stone (Best Supporting Actress, The Favourite),&nbsp;Adam Driver (Best Supporting Actor,&nbsp;BlacKkKlansman),&nbsp;Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (Best Animated Film) and more:
