Deciding what to add to your wardrobe for Spring/Summer? These fashionista approved trends have been spotted on celebrities like Kylie Jenner and Dua Lipa as well as Instagram darlings Matilda Djerf and Leonie Hanne.&nbsp;

Greens seem to be an in shade for 2022. Lime green has a lot of yellow tones in it, so much so that it resembles a lemonade green. The vibrant-pastel lime hence creates a refreshingly zesty yet soft aesthetic that feels almost slightly retro.&nbsp;
American influencer Olivia Culpo has taken the feel of this shade literally in her ultra-chic Parisienne ensemble. She paired a belted, blazer-style mini dress with a beret and a matching, cylindrical, vanity-style handbag. The look had a contemporary '50s to '60s feel to it and the fresh shade oozed springtime elegance. She completed the look with white pointed heels that contrasted beautifully against the monochromatic green look.&nbsp;&nbsp; Kylie Jenner and Swedish influencer Matilda Djerf were also spotted in pastel lime-hued ensembles. Matilda's look screamed <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/women-of-y2k-2000s-britney-spears-paris-hilton-lindsey-lohan-gwen-stefani">Y2k fashion</a>. She paired a pale, square-necked pastel lime dress with tinted oversized sunglasses and a black shoulder bag. The tiny braids in her hair further added to the Y2k feel of the look. Kylie, on the other hand, went all-out glam as always. A custom design by designer Namita Khade, the knitted, two-piece co-ord set consisted of a halter neck, tie back top with a low, scoop neckline and an elegant, fitted midi skirt with a trendy lettuce hem. Beaded straps and stone-beaded heels gave the look a 'spring/summer goddess with a boho vibe' kind of feel.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Pastels may seem like a spring-only thing but it all comes down to the print and how you style it. With some changes here and there, it can have a summery aesthetic as well.&nbsp;&nbsp; Model Gigi Hadid posted a picture of herself in an adorable, Moschino outfit that featured orange, green and pink pastel-candy coloured hues. The playfully retro, preppy ensemble consisted of a plaid jacket, bra top and mini skirt set teamed with a pastel pink, plastic-looking, chain belt. It was accessorised with an alphabet-adorned pastel pink box bag peace sign and alphabet statement earrings. Pointed heels that featured a thin strap were embellished with a pink heart that also resembled a button. The dress featured a wrap top and 80s inspired puff sleeves. She put her own fresh, trendy spin on the look by accessorising with funky, layered bracelets and anklets in various colours and designs. Thick, gold hoop earrings added a hint of bling and she completed the look with Bottega Veneta's Intrecciato weave Mini Jodie Bag in tan. This is one look that was an exercise in blending vintage with more modern styles.&nbsp;&nbsp;
If you are not into the all pastel look, Danielle Bernstein of Who Wore What has got you covered. She adds a touch of pastel to her all-brown-toned look in the form of a cute, fur-collared, pastel blue floral mini cardigan. The cropped cardigan was paired with a Gucci monogrammed mini skirt in Gucci's classic, interlocking GG canvas print and knee-high, chocolate brown boots that had a western feel to them. A perfect blend of the '90s and early '00s, the blue and brown colour combination is definitely one to try this year.&nbsp;

Pistachio green is a truly year-round shade due to its almost jewel tone quality and the colour featured heavily in Daniel Lee's final collection for Bottega Veneta's Cruise 2022. A shade that many style influencers such as <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/get-your-mix-and-match-on-with-german-influencer-leonie-hanne">Leonie Hanne</a> and Olivia Culpo have been wearing, it lends a delicious pop of colour to a look.
A rich, slightly earthy, yellow-toned green, this shade is not as garishly bright as lime or smile green and does not have the blue tones present in seafoam or pastel mints. Though this may seem like more of a fall shade (it could of course pass as one of course), it also has a Mediterrane summer quality, reminiscent of the island of Sicily, where some of the world's most prized pistachios are found. For a sensational summer goddess look that evokes the Sicilian sunshine, take cues from Danielle Bernstine of Who Wore What. Her pistachio green, satin two-piece outfit consisted of a midi skirt and strappy halter with an o-ring cutout. More Mediterranean summer vibes were injected through gold-tone accessories, Prada's Raffia Tote in a sandy tan and a darling, ribbon tie straw hat.&nbsp;
For those cooler days, take inspiration from American model Rocky Barnes and German influencer Leonie Hanne. Rocky Barnes's knit ensemble featured a body-skimming, midi-length skirt that created an elongated, elegant silhouette. Body skimming skirts (as opposed to bodycon skirts) make for a sensual look and quiet, understated glamour. Particularly when cut below the knees. She accessorised with casual yet trendy matching open-toe flats and completed the look with a contrasting, juicy coral-hued mini bag.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Americana fashion often has patriotic motifs, western influences, and elements of workwear. Cowboy hats and boots, denim and fringe just to name a few. It is an aesthetic that seems to be surfacing with Instagram stars like Danielle Bernstein, and models such as Josephine Skriver, Jasmine Tookes and Rocky Barnes.&nbsp; &nbsp; Danielle Bernstein was pictured wearing a rather contemporary, dessert chic ensemble that comprised of a dreamy, floral, plunge-neck wrap mini dress with layered tiers and balloon sleeves. She styled the modern boho feel dress with cream coloured, square-toed western-inspired boots that featured a thick black contrast patch that provided a contemporary edge. The look was completed with more Americana in the form of a light taupe cowboy hat and a sexy, ruffle-trimmed cut out in the back of the dress giving the look an added femininity.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Model Rocky Barnes went all out with this trend with a tan, western-style jacket that featured pastel pink fringe and patriotic pastel pink star motifs against a pale dusty blue. She wore this statement jacket over a cream, ribbed knit, turtleneck maxi dress and accessorised with a light taupe cowboy hat, pointed, cream, heeled western boots and an adorable, dusty pink, fur textile handbag. Blending the clean modern lines of the fitted dress with vintage, western elements, this look had an air of surreal romanticism to it and oozed California dessert spring/summer.&nbsp;&nbsp;

This funky, swirly print was Y2k's version of '70s psychedelic. Random swirls, often in a statement, contrasting hues were all the rage back in the early '00s. With all the Y2k fashions coming back, it is no surprise this one has been picked up by major influencers like Patricia Bright and Matilda Djerf as well as model Lottie Moss and Kourtney Kardashian.&nbsp;&nbsp; Patricia and Matilda both opted for swirl print tops which they tucked into retro-looking high-waisted jeans. High-waisted jeans were popular in the '70s, late '80s and right through to the late '90s. Matilda's retro Y2k summer ensemble featured a pistachio-lime-hued swirl print tube top and was aptly accessorised with hoop earrings and a sparkly baguette-style shoulder bag. Patricia's outfit was kept simple with a terracotta brown-toned halter with swirls in various other hues of brown. Patrica opted for slightly more vibrant toned blue jeans to complement the brown tones of her top while Matilda went for a pale, light wash blue.&nbsp; Singer Dua Lipa was also spotted in this swirl print. Her long-sleeved, Versace catsuit featured a mix of Versace's medusa heads swirled a pattern of bright, sky blue, neon green and neon coral. The mesmerizing, truly sexy, fun, statement look was accessorised with a vibrantly blue La Medusa Bag that tied the whole look together. Thin, large, hoop earrings completed her outfit, another subtle nod to the early '00s.&nbsp;&nbsp;

From Prada's Leather Triangle shoulder bag to the Celine Heart bag, Louis Vuitton's cylindrical, Papillon BB and Fendi's Fendi First clutch, many fashion house's have been putting out bags that do not feature a conventional square, rectangular or perfectly symmetric trapezium body, making this one trend to watch. Uniquely shaped bags provide an element of interest to an outfit and are a great&nbsp;way to add a cool, statement accessory to a look without going over the top.&nbsp; It isn't just fashion houses that have been putting out these bags &ndash; influencers seem to be rather drawn to them as well. Bright white is a great shade for spring/summer and style influencer Camila Coelho has twice, been spotted carrying white, unconventionally shaped bags. Wearing an all-white, two-piece co-ord, she went monochrome teaming it with a small, Vanity style quilted Chanel bag which featured a short, cylindrical shape and dark, gunmetal silver hardware. In another contemporary, earth-toned look, she teamed Fendi's White leather Fendi First Clutch with a muted, caramel-toned brown mini skirt, white bra top and an oversized, moss green Fendi jacket with a high collar. The exotic, animal motif details on the white clutch paired well with the nature-inspired green tones in the outfit, tying the whole look together.&nbsp; American Model Rocky Barnes was pictured carrying an elegant, victorian-esque pearlescent white bag adorned with a pearl strap. The oval shape created sophisticated lines that matched perfectly with the formal feel of her navy satin, pearl-encrusted low-v babydoll dress. This unconventional bag provided an old-world charm to a dressy look as the navy colour and sexy, mini cut of the dress lent a contemporary feel to the abundance of pearls.&nbsp; Another trend that has been surfacing is metallics and for spring/summer, why not try a coloured metallic bag? Dutch influencer Negin Mirsalehi blends both the pastel and metallic trends in a princessy sweet, spring/summer unicorn vibe look that featured a cute yet elegant, bright-pastel lavender, fitted, off-shoulder maxi dress with a thigh-high slit. To complement the look, she teamed it with Dior's Saddlebag in the precious shade of soft, jewel-toned, metallic, dusty pink. Though metallics generally tend to lend an edgier touch to outfits, the clever choice of a pink metallic did not take away from the girlish, princess vibes of this look.&nbsp;&nbsp;
