The iconic Serpenti Forever Bag now gets the makeover we didn't know we needed until now.

Bvlgari&#39;s &quot;Serpenti&nbsp;Through the Eyes Of&rdquo; series got its start&nbsp;in 2017 with shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood, and now, Alexander Wang has put his&nbsp;spin on the Serpenti Forever Bag, just in time for New York Fashion Week.&nbsp;His inspiration? Luxury packaging. Taking something that&#39;s often overlooked and translating it into something that&#39;s desirable.&nbsp;

With a nod to Bvlgari&#39;s heritage as a jewellery house, Wang incorporates elements inspired by traditional&nbsp;goods packaging, such as the watch box, the dust bag, and the paper shopping bag, breathing new life into the iconic design. Wang also draws on the vintage Bvlgari serpent head jewel from the 1950s as inspiration for new hardware. He says: &quot;It was a nod to the sinful woman, and that was something I could relate to. I always think about a thrill-seeker when I design&quot;.&nbsp;

The result is&nbsp;an eclectic mix of innovative shapes with traditional silhouettes in six different styles, blending Wang&#39;s high-low approach with Bvlgari&#39;s luxury.&nbsp;From a shoulder bag&nbsp;to a satchel to a minaudi&egrave;re, the collection is sure to appeal to every taste.&nbsp;The bags come in Wang&#39;s preferred colours of white and black, along with mint green and snakeskin options. Fun fact: the choice of mint green pays tribute&nbsp;to Wang&#39;s favourite scent&nbsp;growing up, the green tea fragrance by Bvlgari.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The Belt Bag is a favourite of ours, featuring detachable straps that can be worn around the waist or over the shoulder, however you&nbsp;like. The Duette&nbsp;with two flaps and the Triplette with three are perfect&nbsp;for casual, everyday wear (just take a look at Gigi Hadid rocking the Duette on the streets of NY). The&nbsp;Shopping Tote comes&nbsp;in three sizes, while the Two-in-One Satchel is reminiscent of dust bags, and the brand new&nbsp;silhouette of the Minaudi&egrave;re is&nbsp;a playful take on Bvlgari&#39;s jeweller heritage.&nbsp;Shaped like a jewellery box with bracelet attachments, this&nbsp;bag will definitely be the talk of party.
