Featuring the magazine’s first-ever Beauty Awards

As the old proverb goes, &ldquo;Everything has its beauty, but not everyone sees it&rdquo;. It&rsquo;s a simple but sage statement that lays bare an uncomfortable reality behind the continuing controversy surrounding the concept of beauty. Or rather, a lack thereof. The truth is, beauty consists not in a single definition, standard or ideal, but in many &mdash;&nbsp;there is beauty in diversity, and diversity in beauty. And with this month&rsquo;s print edition, L&rsquo;Officiel Singapore is bringing those multiple facets to the fore, celebrating beauty in its myriad meanings and forms.

What more awaits in November&rsquo;s beauty bonanza? Well, for starters, a bold and beautiful take on adornment with glitter-dusted lips, look-at-me eyeshadow and feather-bedecked brows and lashes. Then, an exploration of the affinity between fashion and visual art, long rooted in aesthetic appreciation, through the medium of renowned illustrator Jaesuk Kim&rsquo;s Susu Girls (animating Salvatore Ferragamo&rsquo;s Holiday 2020 series) as well as Louis Vuitton&rsquo;s latest Artycapucines collaborations. Not to mention an intimate, in-depth conversation with Maria Grazia Chiuri on getting personal for Dior&rsquo;s Cruise 2021 collection, amplifying female voices and embracing the beauty of individuality through fashion.
