The designer announced that she has left the French Maison - she was at the creative helm for three years.

<p>Clare Waight Keller, the first female creative director ever to have been hired by Givenchy since the foundation of the fashion house, joined after Riccardo Tisci had vacated the position.&nbsp;She has announced that she has left the role, three years after the signing of an initial contract. During her tenure, Clare was hugely popular with the fashion press, thrusting Givenchy Couture into the spotlight as she staged shows to showcase the elaborate designs.</p>

<p>Also equally if not more memorable: Clare dressed Megan Markle for her wedding, and roped in the likes of Ariana Grande and Marc Jacobs for Givenchy&#39;s recent campaigns. In an official statement, she says: &quot;I have shared so many incredible moments with Givenchy&#39;s brilliant ateliers and design teams: their exceptional talent and dedication will forever remain in my memories. My sincere thanks go to each of the unknown heroes and heroines in the behind the scenes, for the product&#39;s contribution to communications and retail and to all global team members, partners and suppliers.&quot;</p>

<p>Prior to her position at Givenchy, Keller was&nbsp;Chlo&eacute;&#39;s&nbsp;creative director, but left in 2017 after six years with the brand. It is unclear what she will do next or who will be her successor at Givenchy. The Givenchy journey that the designer started in 2017 comes to a close&nbsp;with her Fall/Winter 2020&nbsp;collection for the house.</p>
