The Maison unveils an artistic campaign featuring a collaboration with American artist Raymond Pettibon.

Dior pays homage to Christian Dior&#39;s artsy roots as a gallerist and art collector, setting&nbsp;their men&#39;s Winter 2019 campaign in an art gallery inspired by American Artist Raymond Pettibon&#39;s studio.&nbsp;

Shot by Steven Meisel, the campaign showcases Kim Jones&#39;s new collection, which includes notable&nbsp;utilitarian details- such as&nbsp;harnesses, vests and buckles designed by Matthew Williams, and also,&nbsp;collaborations with Pettibon, of whom Jones is also a fan of his work.&nbsp;

The artist, who was&nbsp;a significant figure in California&#39;s 1970s punk scene, referenced Jones&#39;s love&nbsp;for flora and fauna&nbsp;along with a&nbsp;panther print that first appeared in the Maison&#39;s&nbsp;first collection back in 1947, - culminating in a unique print that can be found on&nbsp;the latest collection&#39;s coats.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Furthermore, Pettibon also reinterpreted&nbsp;the Dior&nbsp;logo, transforming it with a&nbsp;brushstroke-like font.&nbsp;The logo was also&nbsp;seen in a series of edgy, punk style&nbsp;jewellery&nbsp;by Dior&#39;s newly appointed men&#39;s jewellery designer Yoon Ahn.

This season, fans will also spot a&nbsp;bag that&#39;s reminiscent of Dior&#39;s famous&nbsp;saddlebag - a backpack with cannage motifs featuring&nbsp;a pocket that takes on the well-known, familiar&nbsp;curves of the Maison&#39;s&nbsp;saddlebag. The iconic design is also seen&nbsp;in the&nbsp;nylon&nbsp;cross-body&nbsp;rendition of the bag.
