After several months of rumours, the partnership between the French house and the Nike subsidiary is now official

The worlds of luxury and sports intertwine once again. While <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/prada-x-adidas-a-first-look-at-the-new-drop">Prada is collaborating with Adidas</a>, Dior has just announced a new partnership with Air Jordan, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Nike subsidiary as well as <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/men/see-all-the-looks-from-dior-men-fall-2020-runway-show">Dior Men&#39;s</a> first show in the United States. The two brands unveiled the first silhouette from the collection on Tuesday, called the Air Jordan 1 High OG Dior.&nbsp;

A year in the making, this&nbsp;reinterpretation is the work of artistic director <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/art/a-magazine-curated-by-kim-jones">Kim Jones</a>. &quot;I love mixing together different worlds, different ideas - Dior and Jordan Brand are both emblamatic of absolute excellence in their fields,&quot; said Jones of the collaboration. The grey and white shoes are made entirely of calf leather with hand-painted edges, and feature the signature Nike swoosh redone in the <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/dior-30-montaigne-bag-launch">Dior Oblique</a> monogram. The soles are transparent, with the Wings logo on one side and Dior on the other.&nbsp;

The Air Jordan 1 High OG Dior will be available in limited quantities from April 2020 onwards at select Dior boutiques worldwide
