A portion of the proceeds from sales of its iconic Devotion bags will be donated to fund research initiatives at the Humanitas University in Milan

Following an earlier donation to the Humanitas University in Milan, Dolce &amp; Gabbana has launched a new campaign&nbsp;to further support research initiatives into the coronavirus at the institution. As a sign of its continued dedication to the cause, the Italian label has established the Amore for Scientific Research project, wherein a portion of all proceeds from sales of its <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/dolce-gabbana-s-latest-accessories-collection-is-a-lesson-in-sublime-summer-style">Devotion</a> collection will be donated to the university to fund a critical study on immune system responses to SARS-CoV-2 , which causes COVID-19.&nbsp;

&quot;The whole world and all of our lives will never be the same again. We truly hope that all of this will lead to a rebirth, and want to do our part so that all of us, especially future generations, can one day benefit from these fundamental scientific discoveries,&quot; said Domenica Dolce and Stefano Gabbana in a statement.&nbsp;

Humanitas University is a renowned&nbsp;Italian university dedicated to the medical sciences. Led by Professor Alberto Mantovani, the ongoing study aims to lay the basis for the development of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, which will be of no small help in the fight against COVID-19.&nbsp;

The new campaign is fronted by award-winning actress Sofia Vergara, and shows the Colombian-American bombshell in a series of eye-catching ensembles, alongside the brand&#39;s latest line of <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/dolce-gabbana-s-latest-accessories-collection-is-a-lesson-in-sublime-summer-style">Devotion</a> bags, from a hand-braided nappa chevron number in emerald green to a matelass&eacute; nappa leather version in royal blue.&nbsp;Set against a luxurious backdrop of what looks to be the island of Capri, the images celebrate the life and beauty of Dolce &amp; Gabbana&#39;s homeland.&nbsp;
