The vision of late Italian <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/shopping/gold-heels-for-women-shopping" target="_blank" rel="noopener">shoe</a> designer, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/women-in-balance-exhibition-ferragamo-museum-florence-wanda-miletti" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Salvatore Ferragamo</a>, lives on. Getting his start in 1920s <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/famous-celebrity-children-young-hollywood" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Hollywood</a>, Ferragamo was a sought-after shoemaker loved by many <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/pop-culture/celebrity-books-that-are-worth-the-hype-my-body-emily-ratajkowski" target="_blank" rel="noopener">celebrities</a> and <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/film-tv/daniel-kaluuya-movies-iconic-roles-get-out-black-panther" target="_blank" rel="noopener">movie</a> stars. His innovative designs included the wedge <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/shopping/black-heels-shopping" target="_blank" rel="noopener">heel</a>, and the beloved Italian designer was never afraid to experiment with construction techniques, models, and materials in his shoes.&nbsp;
Since the house's <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/fashion-rebrands-designer-changes-burberry-gucci-saint-laurent-celine" target="_blank" rel="noopener">rebrand</a> last season, creative director <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/ferragamo-fashion-show-spring-summer-2023-collection-runway-photos" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Maximilian Davis</a> has continued Salvatore Ferragamo's outlook on design. Experimental, <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/sheer-trend-french-girl-style-miu-miu-saint-laurent" target="_blank" rel="noopener">sleek</a>, and "old-Hollywood," Ferragamo's Fall/Winter 2023 collection showcases the future of the brand.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Though the collection as a whole brings classic <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/travel-living/frama-interior-design-scandanavian-minimalism-sustainability" target="_blank" rel="noopener">minimalism</a> to life, Maximilian Davis also insinuates new beginnings. From the structured <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/mugler-fall-winter-2023-collection-runway-photos" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tailoring</a> in trench <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/how-to-find-the-perfect-winter-coat" target="_blank" rel="noopener">coats</a> and blazers to the use of <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/latex-fashion-trend-style" target="_blank" rel="noopener">latex</a> in dresses and suits, Davis portrays his own version of experimentation. The collection's <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/color-combinations-to-try-for-2022-fashion-trends" target="_blank" rel="noopener">color palette</a> moves from navy beginnings, cool-toned blues and grays (seen throughout much of this <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion-week/young-designers-to-watch-nyfw-fall-winter-2023" target="_blank" rel="noopener">fashion month</a>), pops of red and yellow, until finishing with silver and black. The show references the many places Ferragamo has yet to explore. Geometric <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/how-to-style-your-outfit-to-best-fit-your-body-type-shape" target="_blank" rel="noopener">necklines</a>, Florentine drapery, and his subtle use of color emphasize Davis' maturity as a designer, despite his young age.&nbsp;
<a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/music/frank-sinatra-young-photos-my-way-singer" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Old Hollywood</a> notions of glamorous simplicity are taken a step further in Ferragamo's Fall/Winter 2023 collection. Classic pieces are reimagined in a <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/paco-rabanne-futuristic-unwearable-fashion-chainmail" target="_blank" rel="noopener">futuristic</a> lens thanks to Davis' attention to detail. For example, in the third look, the simple buttoned coat has a white overlay on the shoulders which gives fresh life to a tried and true classic. Styled with purple <a href="https://www.lofficielusa.com/fashion/how-to-style-colored-tights-fashion-trend" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tights</a>, the Ferragamo heels take center stage. Ferragamo's newest collection continues the brand's recent refresh.&nbsp;
