Dior poses the question ‘What’s Ladylike?’ in the latest campaign for the Lady Dior bag, starring a host of multi-talented women like Angelababy, Kat Graham, Wang Likun, and more

What does it mean to be a woman? Such a query is perhaps one of the most difficult questions to answer. But that&rsquo;s exactly what Dior asks in the latest campaign for its signature Lady Dior bag. The new What&rsquo;s Ladylike series explores the diverse definitions and manifestations of a lady, with help from multi-faceted and sophisticated women like actress Angelababy and singer Kat Graham. &nbsp;

Created in 1995, the Lady Dior takes its name from Princess Diana, who was an ardent fan of the design, often spotted carrying a chic black version. The bag is instantly recognisable with its quilted cannage pattern, inspired by the Napoleon III chairs used by Christian Dior to seat guests during his fashion shows. Over the years the structured top-handle tote has been reinterpreted by various designers and artists, each reflecting a different facet to the femininity it so perfectly embodies.

Lensed by renowned photographer Joan Braun, the new campaign features 15 different women from a diversity of backgrounds and professions, along with their respective favourite renditions of the Lady Dior. The host of talented artists, models, actresses, and dancers includes Angelababy, Kat Graham, Wang Likun, Olympia of Greece, Wan Wan, Adesuwa Aighewi, Ruth Bell, Sarah Grace Wallerstedt, Lineisy Montero, Yihan Sun, Alisha Nesvat, Anne Nakamura, Eleonora Abbagnato, Evelyn Nagui, and Adria Ajrona.
