The collection transports us back to Scott's Milan of the '60s and '70s, of clashing prints and bold colours.

Think of the name Ken Scott and chances are that the late American fashion designer&rsquo;s larger-than-life floral motifs come to mind. Dubbed the &ldquo;king of flowers&rdquo;, the ever-eclectic Scott &ndash; who found his calling amidst the stylish sensibilities of Milan &ndash; has now become synonymous with his bold iterations of petunias, poppies, peonies and roses.

For Gucci&rsquo;s latest Epilogue collection, Creative Director Alessandro Michele took a deep dive into&nbsp;Scott&rsquo;s extensive fabric archive with a selection of special pieces that range from evening wear and bomber jackets to maxi dresses and silk headbands. The campaign,&nbsp;shot by&nbsp;<a href="https://www.instagram.com/mark_peckmezian/" tabindex="0">Mark Peckmezian</a>, is set&nbsp;in a decorated room filled with different patterns and floral arrangements, transporting&nbsp;us back to Scott&#39;s Milan of the &#39;60s and &#39;70s, of clashing prints and bold colours.

Most notably, however, is the Epilogue collection&rsquo;s reinterpretation of some of the Maison&rsquo;s iconic bags. The Jackie 1961, Horsebit 1955 and Dionysus all sport Scott&rsquo;s emblematic prints in a range of colour schemes that span from cream to vibrant fuchsia. A touch of flower power in 2021? Yes please.&nbsp;

Together with the launch, The Gucci podcast has dedicated a special episode to discuss Ken Scott&#39;s life and legacy in contemporary fashion. The episode will feature Shahidha Bari&mdash;writer, academic, critic and Professor of Fashion Cultures and Histories at London College of Fashion&nbsp;at the University of the Arts London.
