L’Officiel Singapore heads to Gucci’s Paragon boutique to discover the many idiosyncrasies of Gucci’s stable of bags for the season. 

Between the baby dragon and the clone heads that came down the runway at <a href="https://ad.doubleclick.net/ddm/trackclk/N49701.1916640OFFICIELSINAGPORE/B21564413.230667150;dc_trk_aid=428318521;dc_trk_cid=106695831;dc_lat=;dc_rdid=;tag_for_child_directed_treatment=;tfua=">Gucci&rsquo;s Fall/Winter 2018 show</a>, it would have been easy to miss the other accessories that were cradled in the models&rsquo; arms. A trip to Gucci&#39;s&nbsp;recently refurbished Paragon boutique would show you that <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion-week/show-report-gucci-fall-winter-2018-runway-show-by-alessandro-michele-milan-fashion-week">the collection</a> comes with bags aplenty, ranging from vintage-inspired pieces to futuristic offerings in metallic finishes.

As we all know by now, Gucci is a master of details. That&rsquo;s why we&rsquo;ve dissected the features of our favourite bags by the Italian brand for this season below.

Alessandro Michele is known for infusing references of the past in his designs, and he made no exceptions for these bags. The first thing you&rsquo;ll notice is the crystal-embellished, gold metal tiger head, which was inspired by a vintage brooch by the legendary fashion and jewellery designer, Hattie Carnegie.

We&rsquo;re no strangers to Gucci&rsquo;s tiger motifs by now, but this iteration is an especially classy touch that elevates the otherwise casual&nbsp;<a href="https://ad.doubleclick.net/ddm/trackclk/N49701.1916640OFFICIELSINAGPORE/B21564413.230656923;dc_trk_aid=428255088;dc_trk_cid=106745192;dc_lat=;dc_rdid=;tag_for_child_directed_treatment=;tfua=">leather-trimmed Rajah&nbsp;tote</a>&nbsp;to a statement of elegance. But what is a cyborg-themed collection without a hint of something more futuristic? With its silver leather exterior, the bag can easily be mistaken for a souvenir from outer space &mdash; if not for Gucci&rsquo;s signature red and green Web stripe, or the double G logo at the top.

Putting a fresh spin on its classic shape, Gucci added the gold metal chain that we&rsquo;ve seen on its handbags across the iconic Sylvie Web stripe on the front of the shoe.

The gold-toned logo also graces these two Ophidia shoulder bags. An updated version of the one found on Gucci&rsquo;s iconic belts from the &lsquo;70s, the logo serves two different functions.
