Presented in Corsica, Simon Porte Jacquemus' latest collection looks to childhood memories, Mediterranean summers, and the beauty of living in the moment.

For Spring/Summer 2027, Jacquemus returned to where his story began. Set along the coastal path leading to the Pietra Lighthouse in L'Île-Rousse, Corsica, the runway unfolded against sweeping sea views, warm morning light and the sound of the Mediterranean breeze. More than just a fashion show, Le Bonheur was a tribute to a slower, more meaningful way of life.
The collection is deeply personal. It looks back to the designer's childhood summers by the sea with his mother, a time he remembers as when he had "never seen her happier". Those cherished memories shape every look, creating a wardrobe that captures the freedom of holidays, the warmth of the sun and the effortless ease of long summer days.

"I imagined this collection as the embodiment of summer," Jacquemus said. "The sun, the colours, the beauty of simple things, that feeling of lightness. To me, that's happiness."
That feeling of lightness runs through the entire collection. Jacquemus' signature sculptural silhouettes are softer and more understated this season, with oversized pleated trousers, flowing ruffled skirts, sheer dresses and airy shapes that move naturally in the Corsican wind.
Sport continues to influence the brand's DNA, but with a more refined approach. Classic tank tops are reimagined in ultra-thin leather, crêpe and organza, with some pieces finished using the traditional Japanese shibori dyeing technique to add subtle texture without distracting from the collection's clean simplicity.
Colour is just as important as silhouette. Inspired by Mediterranean landscapes, soft pastel shades are balanced with vibrant bursts of colour. A silk and wool trench coat appears in bright yellow, a vivid green shirt brings fresh energy to a flecked wool jacket, a fine orange stripe runs along tailored trousers, while an aquamarine crêpe tube dress reflects the ever-changing colours of the sea. Each look feels like a different moment of a summer's day, from sunrise through to sunset.
The fabrics further enhance the collection's sense of weightlessness. Lightweight layers, delicately embellished tanks with subtle sequins and playful miniature hats all contribute to the relaxed mood. Ballet flats continue the story first introduced through the Jacquemus × Nike Moon Shoes, reinforcing an effortless elegance that feels perfectly suited to a Mediterranean beach café at golden hour.

Beneath the collection's relaxed appearance lies exceptional craftsmanship. Returning to the foundations of his brand, Jacquemus revisits the bras, cropped tops and clean silhouettes that defined his earliest collections, now elevated by years of technical expertise.
Instead of relying on decorative embellishment, construction becomes the focus. Embroidery gives way to carefully engineered tailoring, feathers are seamlessly integrated into garment volumes, leather is embossed with textures inspired by fruits and vegetables, and soft draping creates graceful movement while maintaining precise structure.
"I wanted to go back to what I was doing 15 or 16 years ago, but with the know-how we have today," the designer explained.
That philosophy defines Le Bonheur. Nothing feels overworked or excessive. Details reveal themselves gradually, thoughtful finishing replaces obvious ornamentation, and luxury comes through craftsmanship rather than spectacle.
The collection also reflects a new chapter in Jacquemus' personal life. The designer shared that his children, Mia and Sun, have inspired him to embrace brighter colours, leading to cheerful yellow, red, striped and polka-dot shoes designed to be worn from the city straight to the beach.
As the Corsican wind swept through the runway, occasionally interrupting the show, Jacquemus captured the spirit of the collection with a simple reflection: "It's not the perfection we imagined, but at the same time, it's life."&nbsp;That sentiment perfectly sums up Le Bonheur. Rather than chasing perfection, Jacquemus celebrates the fleeting beauty of summer, where light, movement and genuine moments matter far more than flawless execution.
