The creative director is leaving his position after a decade-long run.

American designer Jeremy Scott is reportedly leaving his role as creative director of <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/hey-mickey-moschino-s-chinese-new-year-collection" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Moschino</a>. Scott was appointed to the esteemed position in 2013, where he succeeded former creative director Rossella Jardini.&nbsp;
"I am fortunate to have had the opportunity of working with the creative force that is Jeremy Scott," Massimo Ferretti, executive chairman of Moschino's parent company Aeffe, <a href="https://wwd.com/fashion-news/designer-luxury/jeremy-scott-is-exiting-moschino-creative-director-1235588203/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told WWD</a>. "I would like to thank him for 10 years of commitment to Franco Moschino's legacy house and for ushering in a distinct and joyful vision that will forever be a part of Moschino history."
Scott mentioned that he was "so proud of the legacy I am leaving behind" and described his experience "as a wonderful celebration of creativity and imagination."

Underneath Scott's visionary leadership, Moschino's roots of ironic fashion continued on, though he brought the label to new heights by making Moschino a brand among the stars.&nbsp;
Over his 10-year run, Scott attracted many A-list celebrities to the brand including Katy Perry, Bebe Rexha, Gigi Hadid, <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/men/in-conversation-with-lil-nas-x-on-his-new-calvin-klein-campaign" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lil Nas X</a>, <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/culture/taylor-swift-receives-degree-at-university-of-new-york" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Taylor Swift,</a> and Sabrina Carpenter, among many more. Most recently, Angela Bassett attended the <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/academy-awards-2023-oscars-red-carpet-celebrity-looks" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2023 Academy Awards</a> in a dramatic royal purple Moschino gown.&nbsp;

Scott's last runway show at the helm of Moschino was this most recent Milan Fashion Week for the Fall/Winter 2023 season. Like every collection of the past, the presentation was playful yet tasteful. It was a fun take on pop punk with its spiked hair, tweed suits, melted silhouettes, and fishnet leggings.&nbsp;
As for what the future of Moschino will look like, there is still no word on who will be taking over Scott's role.
