After Maria Grazia Chiuri's departure, Dior entrusts the creative leadership of the women's collections to Jonathan Anderson, who was already appointed for the men's line.&nbsp;

In a surprise announcement that came early Monday morning,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/dior-cruise-2026-show-collection-maria-grazia-chiuri-rome-fashion-celebrities" title="Maria Grazia Chiuri Brings Dior to a Historic Roman Villa for the Cruise 2026 Show" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dior</a>&nbsp;revealed that&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/jonathan-anderson-leaves-loewe-artistic-director-role-after-eleven-years-fashion-news" title="Jonathan Anderson Bids Farewell to Loewe After Eleven Transformative Years" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jonathan Anderson</a>&nbsp;is not just its creative director of men's, but he's the creative director of everything.
Anderson will now oversee women&rsquo;s, men&rsquo;s, and haute couture collections at <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/dior-pre-fall-2025-show-kyoto-toji-garden-japan-runway-looks-fashion-celebrities-tontawan" title="Dior Flies to Kyoto for the Fall 2025 Show at the Toji Garden" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Dior</a>. This comes after mid-April news that the designer was taking over Dior Men after parent company&nbsp;LVMH's CEO Bernard Arnault&nbsp;revealed&nbsp;the move in a press conference: "I can tell you that the next Christian Dior Men's show, which will take place in June, will be designed by Jonathan Anderson." Shortly after, a Dior statement confirmed the Northern Irish designer was appointed the artistic director of men's collections at Dior. Now, it's clear, Anderson's takeover extends beyond menswear.
&ldquo;It is a great honour to join Dior as creative director of both women&rsquo;s and men&rsquo;s collections. I have always been inspired by the rich history of this house, its depth, and empathy. I look forward to working alongside its legendary ateliers to craft the next chapter of this incredible story," the new Dior creative director said in a press release on the expanded role. "I would like to express my sincere thanks to Delphine Arnault and Bernard Arnault for their trust and loyalty over the years.&rdquo;
Anderson's Dior debut is scheduled for June 27 in&nbsp;Paris, when he will present his first men's collection for the house. His womenswear debut is expected this October.&nbsp;

Historically, there have been multiple creative directors at the French fashion house. <a href="https://www.hommessingapore.com/style/kim-jones-steps-down-as-creative-director-of-dior-men-homme-fashion-news" title="Kim Jones Steps Down as Creative Director of Dior Men" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kim Jones&nbsp;left&nbsp;Dior Men</a> late January 2025 after seven years. Maria Grazia Chiuri&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/maria-grazia-chiuri-leaves-dior-creative-director-exit-9-years-fashion-news" title="Maria Grazia Chiuri Steps Down As Creative Director of Dior After 9 Years" target="_blank" rel="noopener">left her post</a>&nbsp;as womenswear creative director late May, after nine years. Anderson, who was rumored to move to Dior for months before the official news, now succeeds them both as the first since Christian Dior himself to helm all the brand's categories.
"I have followed [Anderson's] career with great interest since he joined the LVMH group over ten years ago. I am convinced that he will bring a creative and modern vision to our house, inspired by the fabulous story of Monsieur Dior and the codes he created," Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Christian Dior Couture Delphine Arnault said in a statement.
Before Dior, Anderson served as&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/jack-mccollough-lazaro-hernandez-loewe-creative-director-fashion-news-jonathan-anderson" title="Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez Named Creative Directors of LOEWE" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Loewe</a>'s (another LVMH-owned fashion brand) creative director for 11 years. He also runs his own eponymous label, JW Anderson.
