Set to drop on June 17, Kenzo Vans 2020 includes full-on floral footwear, apparel, and accessories, as well as a limited edition skateboard deck

You might think florals for spring aren&rsquo;t particularly groundbreaking (no one can forget that dripping-with-sarcasm line delivered perfectly by <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/Culture/these-20-actresses-over-50-are-delivering-their-best-performances-yet">Meryl Streep</a>), but trust us, you will want one (or all) of the blooming good pieces from the latest collaboration between Kenzo and Vans.

Launching this Wednesday, June 17, the second instalment of the partnership fuses Kenzo&rsquo;s casual elegance with the laidback Californian vibe of the skate brand in a riotous explosion of colours and patterns.

Three psychedelic floral prints taken from the Maison&rsquo;s archive get daubed all over classic Vans silhouettes from top to tread: the Old-Skool low-top trainer and the high-top Sk8-Hi sneaker.

Taking things a step further, Kenzo&rsquo;s <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/8-things-you-won-t-want-to-miss-at-paris-fashion-week-fall-2020">Felipe Oliveira Baptista</a> imagines a capsule of apparel and accessories to complement the covetable kicks &mdash;&nbsp;his first as creative director of the luxury house. Sharp cuts and gender-neutral themes give the collection a sense of youthfulness and dynamism, with designs ranging from illustrated t-shirts and efflorescent hoodies to high-waisted flared trousers and denim trucker jackets to a full-on floral raincoat and bustier dress. An equally eye-catching assortment of baseball caps, bob hats, bum bags, backpacks, and bandanas round out the capsule.

That&rsquo;s not to forget the ultimate object of desire, a limited edition skateboard deck released in tandem with The Skateroom. An homage to Vans&rsquo; roots in skate culture, 100% of all profits from this exclusive lifestyle item (only 150 pieces are available) will be donated to Freedom Skatepark, a social initiative that aims to empower at-risk youth in Jamaica. &nbsp;

The hype-worthy collaboration is captured in a new campaign by photographer Ari Marcopoulos. Styled as raw reportage, the series of images and videos zooms in on a group of seven IRL skaters and friends &mdash;&nbsp;Tre&rsquo;Veon Ladson, Tyron Watts, Vincent Nava, Omoye Brown, Surish Singh, David Branom, and Rebecca L&rsquo;Amore &mdash;&nbsp;providing an intimate insight into their everyday lives, hanging out in Los Angeles under the sunny SoCal sky. &nbsp;
