<p>Pelagia Kolotouros gives Lacoste a confident new edge.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Taking place at the Hall Eiffel at Lyc&eacute;e Carnot, Lacoste&rsquo;s Spring/Summer 2026 show added a twist to the brand&rsquo;s athletic roots. Glass panels, tiled walls, and drapes that resembled showers transformed the area into a strange locker room. The setting, which echoed Pelagia Kolotouros&rsquo;s continuous exploration of what emerges when performance gives way to vulnerability, had an intimate but architectural feel.</p>
<p>The clothes reflected that mood. The loose-fitting shapes of the creative director included robe-style jackets emblazoned with the phrase &ldquo;Tennis for Everyone,&rdquo; flowing pants and transparent polos. Everything seemed to be in motion, but under control. The interplay of translucent nylon, rubberised cotton, and shiny leather created tension without seeming overdone.</p>

<p>The brand&rsquo;s signature whites and blues were paired with rich orange, olive, and taupe hues to achieve a retro athletic vibe without going overboard. To pay homage to Lacoste&rsquo;s tradition, the iconic crocodile was reinvented in textured embroidery reminiscent of grass courts.</p>
<p>What stood out most was the atmosphere of calm confidence. This was not a collection that chased trends or tried to amaze with spectacle. Instead, it looked at the moments that take place off the court, when sportsmen let go of their grasp and allow imperfection to enter the frame.</p>
<p>Now, Kolotouros&rsquo;s vision for Lacoste seems mature: based on the past but open to fresh interpretations. Instead of using boldness, she is giving the brand a mellow authority by emphasising sensuality and subtle humour. The end effect is a collection that feels thoroughly confident and authentically lived in, rather than shouting.</p>
