Streetwear has been enjoying a renaissance lately &mdash; if <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/see-the-full-list-of-2018-cfda-awards-nominees-and-honorees">Supreme&#39;s recent CFDA nomination</a> is anything to go by &mdash;&nbsp;and we don&#39;t think that&#39;s going away anytime soon. Not that we mind, especially since&nbsp;even luxury&nbsp; fashion houses have succumbed to&nbsp;the cult appeal of the hip-hop-&nbsp;and skate-influenced labels to give us collaborations we never knew we needed.

<a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/gosha-rubchinsky-burberry-second-collection-fall-winter-2018">Gosha x Burberry</a> made oversized checkered shirts cool, Louis Vuitton x Supreme broke the Internet with monogrammed skateboards, and now the Off-White C/O Jimmy Choo collection has us wanting to own our very own pair of plastic-covered stilettos &agrave; la Rihanna.

Introducing nine new shoe silhouettes, the collection marks the first time that the renowned British accessories label&nbsp;has collaborated with a ready-to-wear designer. While Off-White&#39;s Creative Director and long-time Kanye West collaborator&nbsp;Virgil Abloh may seem like a surprising choice, the&nbsp;resulting collaboration has undoubtedly brought a fresh and&nbsp;unique voice to the world of luxury footwear.

Claire&nbsp;is really&nbsp;an iteration of Jimmy Choo&#39;s iconic Lance shoe that has been updated to include the&nbsp;unique detail of ruched PVC that wraps around it. We&#39;ve seen the clear plastic trend everywhere from clothes (think Burberry&#39;s PVC coat) to&nbsp;bags (remember that SS18 C&eacute;line plastic bag?), but seeing it on stilettos makes even more sense: the plastic creates the perfect illusion of a boot while keeping the stilletto&nbsp;itself practically untouchable and eternally stain-free.
