The ‘Euphoria’ star explains all the reasons why she chose to represent Prada at her very first Met Gala.

September 13th saw the best faces of Hollywood grace the red carpet of the Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art&#39;s Costume Institute in New York City. One of the honourable attendees was HBO Euphoria&rsquo;s very own Hunter Schafer, decked in a futuristic silver two-piece set by Prada.&nbsp;

In an exclusive behind the scenes video produced by the brand, Hunter tells viewers behind the camera her feelings before the Met: &ldquo;My first Met Gala. Very excited. Very nervous. A lot of feelings.&rdquo;

&ldquo;It&rsquo;s my first time really being an ambassador for a fashion brand,&rdquo; says Hunter. &ldquo;I had my team reach out to Prada because I love them. To now have been through not only the Galleria campaign but now going to the Met with them is just really special because we&rsquo;re doing all these firsts together. I wouldn&rsquo;t want to do it with anyone else.&rdquo;

The actress and her stylist pulled references from the brand before the event. &ldquo;That silhouette was just really inspiring to us. I love something that feels kind of reminiscent of armour,&rdquo; explains Hunter.&nbsp;

When it comes to accessories, Hunter turned to her friend and artist <a href="https://www.instagram.com/adalioryn/">Evangeline AdaLioryn</a> to complete her look.&nbsp;&ldquo;(Evangeline) is trans and I want to rep my community,&quot; says Hunter. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s magical, beautiful stuff,&rdquo; she carries on, gushing&nbsp;to the camera in proud camaraderie as she talks about Evangeline&rsquo;s work: an eyecatching Mermaid Wing Brooch in white gold and three intricately designed rings in platinum and white gold.&nbsp;
