Gear up for the summer in the British designer's outerwear collection inspired by tents and kites.

Barely a month after the release of <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/moncler-genius-7-fragment-hiroshi-fujiwara">its collaboration with Fragment designer Hiroshi Fujiwara</a>, Moncler is dropping yet another one of its highly-anticipated Genius collections:&nbsp;5 Moncler Craig Green. It&nbsp;was first unveiled at&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion-week/moncler-genius-launches-the-next-chapter-at-milan-fashion-week">Moncler&#39;s SS19 show at Milan Fashion Week</a> last September, through&nbsp;a <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/Bn_inDxh5Fg/">series of innovative films</a>&nbsp;showing&nbsp;the pieces suspended upon a mechanical contraption.

For the collection, <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion-week/the-highlights-of-london-fashion-week-men-s-fall-2019">Craig Green</a> had been inspired by tents and kites, resulting in sculptural yet functional outerwear pieces. These are a far cry from <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/loewe-is-launching-a-new-menswear-line-for-backpackers">Loewe&#39;s new menswear collection for backpackers</a>, however. Green&#39;s approach leaned towards the avant-garde, as seen in the&nbsp;zip-up jackets, stiff-hooded capes with rope strings and parkas resembling tents.

As demonstrated in the videos, the pieces are constructed from&nbsp;lightweight but sturdy materials, which come in an array of bold and&nbsp;bright&nbsp;colours. Even&nbsp;Moncler&#39;s Longue Saison, which typically comes in black, has been given a vibrant update courtesy of the British designer.&nbsp;
