<p><span>Less than twelve months after his appointment, Tom Ford's creative director is leaving.&nbsp;</span></p>

<p><a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/best-looks-tom-ford-fall-winter-2024-show-runway-images-milan-fashion-week" title="Tom Ford Brings Forth Captivating Camera-Ready Looks" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tom Ford</a> announced this morning that <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/tom-ford-spring-summer-2024-every-look-milan-fashion-week-runway-peter-hawkings" title="Peter Hawkings Makes His Tom Ford Debut for Spring/Summer 2024" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Peter Hawkings</a> will step down as Creative Director as the brand moves towards a womenswear-focused approach.<span>&nbsp;</span><span>The news suggests that the next creative director will focus the brand in that direction; Hawkings, for his part, is a seasoned menswear designer who&nbsp;</span>has been with the brand since its creation and has been at the forefront of the brand's creative mind since the beginning of 2023.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span>The news comes after <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/tom-ford-final-collection-archives-fall-winter-2023-fashion" title="Tom Ford Turns to His Archives For His Final Collection" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tom Ford himself stepped down in 2023</a> as a result of his brand's $2.8 billion dollar sale to ELC the year before.&nbsp;</span><span>Hawkings then made his entrance as the brand&rsquo;s creative lead in September 2023, following an over 20-year stretch working for Tom Ford, first at Gucci and then at his namesake label, which was established in 2005.</span></p>
