Once asked about her ideal wedding dress, Meghan Markle&nbsp;pictured her princess-goal: &quot;I personally prefer dresses that are whimsical or subtly romantic.&quot;

And when&nbsp;the new&nbsp;Duchess of Sussex walked down the aisle of Windsor Castle&nbsp;last weekend in her Givenchy Haute Couture wedding dress by&nbsp;Clare Waight Keller, we witnessed the moment that Meghan&#39;s fairytale came true.

Referencing Givenchy&#39;s codes, Artistic Director&nbsp;Clare Waight Keller&nbsp;created Meghan&#39;s wedding dress using a delicate double bonded silk cady fabric. Meghan&#39;s shoulders were gracefully framed by the dress&#39;s distinctive open bateau neckline, while a long train flowed behind her cushioned by triple silk organza underskirt. The dress was a picture of understated elegance &mdash; a reflection of Meghan&#39;s personal style.&nbsp;

Beneath the gown, the bride completed&nbsp;her pure-white look with a pair of pearly silk duchess satin&nbsp;pumps that were based on a refined pointed Spring/Summer 2018 Haute Couture design by Givenchy.&nbsp;

Meghan&#39;s five-metre-long silk tulle veil was exquisitely hand-embroidered with flowers, each of which represents a Commonwealth country. This is was to fulfill Meghan&#39;s wish to express her gratitude in having the honour to support and&nbsp;work with Prince Harry, who is a Commonwealth Youth Ambassador.

The very front of the veil also featured embroidered&nbsp;crops of wheat, symbolizing love and charity.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The bride kept it minimal and sophisticated when it came to jewellery.&nbsp;

Meghan wore a pair of&nbsp;Galanterie de Cartier earrings&nbsp;and a&nbsp;Reflection de Cartier bracelet, both in white gold and set with diamonds.

Adding&nbsp;another beam alongside her three-stone engagement ring, Meghan wore a wedding band made of Welsh gold, which is a&nbsp;gift from Queen Elizabeth.

Absolulely priceless, the&nbsp;crown jewel worn by the bride was a&nbsp;diamond bandeau tiara, which is a&nbsp;Royal&nbsp;heirloom that&nbsp;Queen Mary bequeathed to Queen Elizabeth II.

It is said that this tiara&nbsp;can be traced all the way back to 1893.
