Salvatore Ferragamo just released sustainable sneakers redefined by vintage running shoes.

Salvatore Ferragamo has been offering an array of opulent sneaker styles not only in Italy but all over the world for almost a century. From the statement, the Vara Bow Sneaker is graced with three large Vara bows to the logo-loving Gancini Canvas Sneaker with their signature silhouette. This season, channel classics with Salvatore Ferragamo&rsquo;s 2022 Sneaker Collection.

The classic styles of the '60s and '70s served as inspiration for this collection. The latest release reiterates Salvatore Ferragamo&rsquo;s signature craftsmanship and comfort while redefining its aesthetic. The sleek silhouette is complemented with vibrant colour combinations, bespoke rubber running soles, suede and leather inlays, and customized treads from heel to toe. Among the various models: a version with the iconic rainbow colour scheme on the sole and another one with an all-over Gancini pattern.&nbsp;

Did we mention these sneakers are also sustainable? Equipped with cutting-edge technology and features low impact on the environment, the shoes' upper is made of ECONYL&reg;, a 100% recycled fibre made from used nylon fishing nets. The suede inserts are made by giving manufacturing waste from a low-emissions production a second life. Despite the fussbett and back lining being made of leather, it has been examined and determined that they were made with a procedure of tanning without chrome. The sewing thread is made from 100% post-consumer recycled polyester, and the Strobel felt contains recycled pre-consumer polyester fibres.
