The Let’s Dance capsule collection unveils a short film and a dance challenge for the brand’s community


If you ever felt the need to dance your frustrations away &mdash; now more than ever &mdash; look no further than Salvatore Ferragamo&rsquo;s new capsule collection for inspiration.&nbsp;&#39;Let&#39;s Dance&#39; embodies&nbsp;the desire for freedom to face life with new enthusiasm &mdash; all through movement.

The capsule collection is accompanied why a short film directed by American director Danielle Lessovitz &ndash; one of the most celebrated film directors from the 2019 Cannes Film Festival &ndash; to tell a story of a symbolic dialogue between dance and the embodying spirit of the modern woman.

It features three contemporary dancers &mdash;&nbsp;Anita Lorusso, Naomi Weijand and Tania Dimbelolo &mdash;&nbsp;in a series of ensemble and solo performances: One where reality disappears, and dance becomes an escape, before ultimately returning to the optimistic present of re-examination.&nbsp;

French actor and director Jean-Louis Barrault believed that: &ldquo;Dancing means fighting against everything that holds us back, everything that brings us down ...&nbsp;it means using our bodies to discover the very essence and spirit of life; it means making physical contact with freedom.&rdquo;

The Let&rsquo;s Dance collection brings a line of shoes light as air, with beautiful colours from sunshine yellow&nbsp;and orange &mdash; and the occasional&nbsp;d&eacute;grad&eacute; effect dotted with micro-rhinestone detail and glitter, to catch the light in every step. The range includes ballet flats crafted from Nappa leather,&nbsp;a Gancini moccasin sandal with refracted high heel, and pumps with lasered uppers,&nbsp;just to name a few.&nbsp;

Let&rsquo;s Dance will also be a dance challenge for the Ferragamo community; and the brand&rsquo;s new<a href="https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMd19Pk5n/"> TikTok</a> channel will open with the Ferragamo Dance Challenge. From mid-June, anyone can follow the tutorials by the three dancers, try out the different choreographies, film themselves and post it. The best videos will be published on the brand&rsquo;s TikTok and Instagram accounts.

Some celebs and partners&nbsp;of the brand will also be putting themselves to the test with the same choreographies in what will become a series of mini-films.&nbsp;
