The Canadian pop star brings her signature movement, confidence and effortless style to Calvin Klein’s Fall 2026 denim campaign

Tate McRae is more than a singer-songwriter. She’s a performer in every sense of the word, known for her electric live shows, dynamic dancing and unmistakable stage presence. From first appearing as a contestant on the American reality television series So You Think You Can Dance to becoming a chart-topping, Grammy Award-nominated pop star, McRae has built a career around movement, self-expression and confidence.

This season, the Canadian singer-songwriter takes on a new role as <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/details-blackpink-jennie-custom-calvin-klein-festival-look-at-summer-sonic-2026-celebrity-fashion" title="All The Details of JENNIE’s Custom Calvin Klein Look at Summer Sonic 2026" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Calvin Klein</a>’s newest global brand ambassador, starring in the American label’s Fall 2026 “Feel the Fit” denim campaign.&nbsp;“I’ve always been a fan of <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/calvin-klein-jung-kook-seventeen-mingyu-tokyo" title="Calvin Klein and Jung Kook Celebrate Partnership with Event in Tokyo" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Calvin Klein</a> jeans,” she says. “Every style has its own personality, but they all give you that same undeniable confidence.”
Directed by Carlijn Jacobs, the campaign captures McRae moving, dancing and bringing her own energy to Calvin Klein’s iconic denim. Inspired by the spirit of the brand’s ’90s campaigns and soundtracked by “Groove Is in the Heart”, it puts her signature performance style front and centre.
Ahead of the global launch, L’OFFICIEL SINGAPORE spoke to McRae about her new role, her memories of Calvin Klein and why she’s currently loving the Low Rise Baggy jean.

As we’ve passed the mid-point of the year, how has 2026 been for Tate McRae?
It’s been a pretty great year so far. We just headlined Lollapalooza and Osheaga, which was such a bucket-list moment I’m still pinching myself over. I feel like I’m tapped into a really inspiring place creatively at the moment, and I’m really excited to continue in that space throughout the year.
What are your strongest memories of Calvin Klein?
I feel like Calvin Klein has always been one of those brands that you grow up seeing everywhere. There are so many iconic campaigns and images. I’ve always loved seeing Kate Moss’s campaign and the ’90s supermodel moments, and most importantly, getting my first pair of Calvins.
On stage you rock bold looks with vivid colours. What is your personal style off stage and what are your most worn pieces?
My style definitely changes, but I always love to wear things that are comfortable but still feel cool. I’ve been living in the Low Rise Baggy jeans for a while now, and I feel like it’s such a staple in my closet.

You also star in the brand’s newest global denim campaign. What was the campaign shoot experience like and what was your favourite look you wore?
The shoot was so much fun. I got to work with Carlijn Jacobs, who is amazing. She really captured the idea of movement. I loved being able to actually move in the denim rather than just pose in it. I loved how the High Rise Baggy jeans felt and looked on me, so I’d have to say that.
We’ve seen so many popular silhouettes of denim jeans throughout the years. From low-rise and skinny jeans in Y2K to mom and boyfriend jeans in recent times, what has been your personal jean journey and what is your current favourite silhouette?
I’ve definitely gone through every phase, but right now I’m really into a Low Rise Baggy jean. I love that it feels relaxed and effortless, and I think the best denim is something you can actually move and feel comfortable in.
