&ldquo;I have chosen the name Virtus because it perfectly expresses the Versace woman&rsquo;s values: the courage to dare, the strength of being self-confident, the resolution to be open-minded and accept what is different. Virtus was indeed the Roman goddess who embodied all of these qualities, once portrayed as a proud and confident woman on armour, coins and mosaics, and now is the symbol of women who have fearlessly dared to achieve.&rdquo;&nbsp;

Bright and bold hues define the Virtus bag in this&nbsp;Fall-Winter 2019 collection, coming in a variety of eye-catching colours&nbsp;such as turquoise, fuchsia and&nbsp;coral red.&nbsp;For those who prefer something a little more toned-down and suitable for everyday use- the&nbsp;camel, black and white provide some pretty practical options without looking overly serious-perfect for&nbsp;taking one from the office to after-work drinks.&nbsp;

Speaking of spectacular leather workmanship, the Virtus is&nbsp;also available&nbsp;in a range of&nbsp;smooth to V-letter pattern quilting finishes, with the bag itself made from supple calfskin leather.&nbsp;

In a decadent display of classic Versace heritage, a large gold-tone metal&nbsp;&quot;V&quot; takes centre stage on the front of the bag, embellished with intricate acanthus leaves&nbsp;from Versace&rsquo;s signature Barocco, inspired by the&nbsp;brand&#39;s SS92 Personal Alphabet print, and most importantly, heralding the values embodied by both the brand and the Roman deity.&nbsp;

Featuring a&nbsp;magnetic flap-over closure to make sure that your belongings are safe, some models of the Virtus bag also include shiny jacquard inserts&nbsp;with the V-letter motif embroidered in metallic thread.&nbsp;

Talking about&nbsp;all-encompassing versatility, the Virtus comes&nbsp;in a variety of different bags models, including a tote,&nbsp;top handle, belt, shoulder and an&nbsp;evening bag.

As Donatella puts it: &quot;When I started the think of a new design of a bag that would then become the Virtus Bag, I first asked myself what a woman looks for in a bag, or accessories in general, and tried to identify myself with them. When I choose a bag, besides the aesthetic and quality of the materials used, I also consider when I will use it and most of all, if it suits me. For this reason, from the beginning, I wanted to create a versatile family of bags: there&rsquo;s the top-handle version, the crossbody, but also the mini and the belt bag. Something for everyone!&rdquo;
