Confident, elegant, strong: these are the words that, according to Sasha Pivovarova, describe a Dior woman. Take it from the Russian model-slash-artist, who is currently the face of the brand's Spring/Summer 2018 campaign, to know what she's talking about.

Her art is featured as much as she is all throughout the campaign; more recently, Pivovarova had her own art installation at Dior's New York Fashion Week party.

Now, Dior has released a new video showcasing Pivovarova in her element: painting. Set in photographer Patrick Demarchelier's studio, the video shows Pivovarova turn her brush strokes into intriguing portraits, while channelling the creative and feminine spirit of the Maison's latest ready-to-wear collection.

A behind-the-scenes video of the campaign has also been released, revealing Pivovarova's rules for her artistic process. The model also contemplates the question posed by her opening look at the Dior Spring/Summer 2018 show: Why have there been no great women artists? Discover her answer in the video below.
