House of Z will chronicle the meteoric rise (and fall) of the wunderkind designer

At 21, Zac Posen was already the talk of the town:&nbsp;winner of CFDA&#39;s&nbsp;Perry Ellis Award for Womenswear,&nbsp;a red carpet&nbsp;favourite among celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow and Uma Thurman, and an all-round&nbsp;wunderkind. But like&nbsp;most success stories, his was not without its ups and downs. By the late 2000s, Posen&#39;s signature aesthetic &ndash;&nbsp;modern American glamour meets couture &ndash; fell out of favour with the fashion crowd and the designer was on the brink of failure.

Fast forward sixteen years.&nbsp;Things have taken a turn for the better, to say the least.&nbsp;In addition to his&nbsp;eponymous line and&nbsp;two successful diffusion lines,&nbsp;Posen is&nbsp;the creative director of Brooks Brothers and a&nbsp;judge on Project Runway. And now, the designer will become the subject of&nbsp;a new documentary, House of Z.

Directed by Sandy Chronopoulos, the 87-minute&nbsp;film chronicles Posen&#39;s career trajectory &ndash;&nbsp;from his meteoric early rise to his subsequent fall and recent re-emergence as a respected figure in the industry. With revealing interviews with Posen himself and&nbsp;appearances by Anna Wintour,&nbsp;Naomi Campbell, Andr&eacute; Leon Talley, and Karen Elson,&nbsp;House of Z promises to be a compelling&nbsp;tell-all tale not to be missed.
