Proceeds will go towards the UN Foundation and New York Community Trust 

In the latest roster of<a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/capri-holdings-pledges-upwards-of-3-million-to-coronavirus-relief-efforts"> brands uniting to fight</a> against a common ailment, Tiffany &amp; Co. announce yesterday a one-million-dollar commitment to coronavirus related causes.&nbsp;

US$750,000 will go towards the <a href="https://covid19responsefund.org/">COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organisation</a>, powered by the UN Foundation and US$250,000 to <a href="https://www.nycommunitytrust.org/covid19/">The New York Community trust&rsquo;s NYC Covid-19 Response &amp; Impact Fund.</a>&nbsp;

&ldquo;During this global health crisis, we must all be responsive to the urgent needs of our global communities. We are proud to support organizations providing immediate relief for communities impacted by COVID-19, including our hometown of New York,&rdquo; said Anisa Kamadoli Costa, Chairman &amp; President, The Tiffany &amp; Co. Foundation, in a press release.

The COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization (WHO) directly supports global efforts to help countries prevent, detect and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. The funds will help send essential supplies to frontline health workers, enable countries to track and detect the disease, ensure access to the latest science-based information to prevent infection and care for those in need, and accelerate the discovery and development of lifesaving vaccines, diagnostics and treatment.

The NYC COVID-19 Response &amp; Impact Fund aids nonprofit social service and arts and culture organizations struggling with the health and economic effects of the coronavirus. Grants and loans are given to NYC-based nonprofits that are working to meet the new and urgent needs that are hitting the city as a result of the COVID-19 virus.

&nbsp;Priority will be given to nonprofits addressing essential healthcare and food insecurity, while supporting a broad range of social services organizations as well as arts and culture organizations.

In addition, The Tiffany &amp; Co. Foundation has signed onto Philanthropy&#39;s Commitment During COVID-19 Pledge, a signal from foundations to grantees that they are ready to support them with the flexibility they need so they can respond quickly and confidently in these difficult times.&nbsp;

Typically focused on environmental causes, this move signals to the broader public that <a href="http://www.tiffanyandcofoundation.org/">Tiffany &amp; Co. Foundation&rsquo;s</a> philanthropy stands side-by-side with the nonprofit sector at this moment.
