The jewellery house takes a collection of historic jewels by Jean Schlumberger to Thailand for the very first time.

Five rooms, and over fifty magnificent jewels and one-of-a-kind creations from The Tiffany Archives &mdash; this is Legendary Legacy: A Tiffany &amp; Co. Exhibition in Thailand. The showcase is in fact the jewellery house&rsquo;s first ever <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/jewellery/blackpink-rose-enhypen-sunghoon-jake-win-metawin-tiffany-wonder-tokyo-jewellery-fashion">exhibition</a> in Thailand, and the Maison certainly pulled out all the stops, celebrating the work of Jean Schlumberger, the French jewellery designer who is known for his colourful, nature-inspired pieces for Tiffany &amp; Co.

The immersive experience starts with Guadeloupe: An Island of Inspiration, which illustrates how Schlumberger was enthralled by the stunning nature of the Caribbean Island, where he owned a home. Visitors then enter the Garden of Imagination, a space showing how flora and fauna are reimagined with his distinct whimsical and surreal vision &mdash; here lies the Elephant Head Clip with diamonds, emeralds and turquoise, a design that is possibly inspired by Schlumberger&rsquo;s travels through Thailand. Next, dive into The Depths of Beauty, an area housing pieces that put on view <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/jewellery/tiffany-co-blue-book-2023-out-of-the-blue-high-jewelry-collection">the artist&rsquo;s love for the sea</a>, including the Hedges and Flowers necklace with yellow sapphires, turquoise and diamonds. The exhibition progresses into Wings: Symbols of the Soul, which is devoted to Tiffany&rsquo;s creations depicting flight and metamorphosis.&nbsp;

Legendary Legacy concludes powerfully with the 128.54-carat Tiffany Diamond &mdash; marking the first time the famed jewel is exhibited in the region, and in its fifth and latest setting, with five diamond-encrusted birds encompassing it. The newest design references the signature Bird on a Rock brooch, which was introduced by Schlumberger 60 years ago. &ldquo;Bringing Jean Schlumberger&rsquo;s masterpieces to Thailand is a moment of deep pride. His work represents Tiffany at its most daring and poetic &mdash; where art, nature and fantasy converge. This exhibition is a celebration of that spirit... The inclusion of the Tiffany Diamond, our most iconic and storied gemstone, marks a historic moment, symbolising the pinnacle of our legacy in craftsmanship, innovation, and gemological excellence,&rdquo; says Tiffany &amp; Co. The remarkable piece involved 1,384 hours to create, 407 hours to set and 190 hours to polish &mdash; it will be on display until 7 September at One Bangkok, Tower 4.
