Bottega Veneta blurs the line between dream&nbsp;and reality with its new duo&nbsp;of fragrances, Illusione, released in versions for&nbsp;him and her. Inspired by the idea of amore, or love, the fragrances capture the sensual Italian allure from both&nbsp;male and female perspectives.&nbsp;

Created by 3 master perfumers, the scents conjure up the image&nbsp;of Italy&#39;s dreamy landscapes. The fragrances are centred on the tension between freshness and sensuality, elicited by the contrast between the distinctly different top notes of citrus and base notes of wood. Illusione for her brings a&nbsp;floral scent crafted by Annick Menardo and Amandine Clerc-Marie, while Illusione for him&nbsp;by Antoine Maisondieu&nbsp;carries a woody citrus aroma.&nbsp;

The&nbsp;ambiguous state&nbsp;between real life and fantasy is&nbsp;also effectively captured by art director Fabien Baron in the brand&#39;s 3&nbsp;campaign films, meant to leave&nbsp;viewers wondering&nbsp;which parts of the film are real and which&nbsp;fantasy.&nbsp;

Illusione for her is composed of&nbsp;top notes of bergamot and blackcurrant, followed by orange blossom and green fig, warmly complimenting the base notes of olive wood and tonka bean.&nbsp;&nbsp;

On the other hand, Illusione for him has top notes of lemon and bitter orange essence, given a more masculine touch from ingredients like&nbsp;woody fir balsam and white cedarwood, rounded off with vibrant vetiver and tonka beans.&nbsp;

Both&nbsp;fragrances&nbsp;are designed to reflect the careful craftsmanship synonymous with the Bottega Veneta name.&nbsp;The flacon is made with reflective glass&nbsp;to magnify the perfume inside, tinted with pink and green hues for her and him respectively.&nbsp;
