For its debut show in China, Coach presented a tale of two cities.

Continuing the tale of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/dior-men-pre-fall-2019-collection-by-kim-jones-in-tokyo">fashion&#39;s blossoming love for the East</a>, New York label&nbsp;<a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/events-and-parties/coach-marina-bay-sands-store-reopening-kiko-mizuhara-lawrence-wong-rebecca-lim-photo-gallery">Coach</a> marked its 15th anniversary with yet another milestone by bringing its Pre-Fall 2019 Men&#39;s and Women&#39;s&nbsp;runway show&nbsp;to&nbsp;China for the first time. Specifically, the brand headed to the West Bund Art Centre in Shanghai, which&nbsp;set the scene of the&nbsp;Coach Lights Up Shanghai show.

And light up Shanghai, Coach did, with an array of vibrant neon signs &mdash; a commonplace fixture in&nbsp;both&nbsp;Shanghai and the Big Apple, and a point of fascination for guests like <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/kiko-mizuhara-is-the-new-face-of-coach">Kiko Mizuhara</a>, Liu Wen and BLACKPINK&#39;s&nbsp;Ros&eacute;.

As for the collection itself, Creative Director Stuart Vevers once again drew on his <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion-week/coach-spring-2019">Americana-influenced vision</a>: flowing floral dresses with exaggerated handkerchief hems drifted by, making way for <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/miu-miu-famous-cats-sweaters-capsule-collection">mohair sweaters</a> and cloud-like jackets in soft leather, suede or shearling. In that same &#39;70s&nbsp;spirit, the house&#39;s signature&nbsp;Dreamer bag was also&nbsp;adorned with lavish patchwork.

What was&nbsp;really new were the prints of Coach&#39;s dinosaur mascot, Rexy, created in in collaboration with contemporary Chinese creatives:&nbsp;Zhu Jingyi&#39;s iteration was&nbsp;made with ink drawing, while the one by Guang Yu used hand-drawn graffiti print; music collective YETI OUT combined Rexy into their signature round face logo, and Sui Jianguo distorted&nbsp;a photograph&nbsp;of a T-Rex sculpture to create a new photo print for the collection.&nbsp;
