The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are taking the smartphone photography game to a whole new level. Here's how.

Last week, the global tech brand <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/living/watch-live-stream-huawei-global-press-conference-2019-paris-new-p30-series">launched&nbsp;the new Huawei P30 series</a>, comprising the&nbsp;Huawei P30 and P30 Pro smartphones. The pair boast a gorgeous exterior &mdash; both are fronted by an expansive Dewdrop display and come in beautiful gradient finishes like Amber Sunrise, Breathing Crystal and Aurora, on top of classic Black &mdash; but it&#39;s what&#39;s inside the smartphones that will truly take your breath away.

As the follow-up to the acclaimed P20 Series, the Huawei P30 Series is packed with&nbsp;an array of new camera features that will make&nbsp;even purist photographers swoon. (We would&nbsp;know; the <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/out-now-lofficiel-singapore-april-2019-issue">cover of our April issue</a> was shot on a Huawei P30 Pro!) Below, we list down 5&nbsp;of them&nbsp;that are going to bring your photography game to a whole new level:

Even before we get down to&nbsp;the nitty-gritty details, the Huawei P30 Pro packs&nbsp;a punch with the all-new&nbsp;Leica Quad Camera System. That&#39;s right, quad. This includes an incredible 40MP main camera, a 20MP ultra-wide angle camera, an 8MP telephoto camera and a 32MP front camera (because flawless selfies are a top priority, of course). With its many in-built cameras, we can&#39;t think of any moment&nbsp;or view&nbsp;that the Huawei P30 Pro won&#39;t be able to capture easily &mdash; and impressively.

Speaking of not missing a moment, you can now say&nbsp;goodbye to dark, poorly-lit&nbsp;images with figures you can hardly make out anymore. That&#39;s thanks to the new&nbsp;SuperSpectrum Sensor, which allows&nbsp;photos taken in the dark&nbsp;to be illuminated with&nbsp;up to 40% increased light. On the Huawei P30 Pro, the sensor is even more advanced with&nbsp;a sensitivity of up to&nbsp;ISO 409,600. In other words, you&#39;ll never&nbsp;have to worry about losing&nbsp;the memories you made at candlelit dinners, outdoor campfires or your favourite&nbsp;nightclubs.

The Huawei P30 Series boasts yet another super feature, the SuperZoom lens, which does exactly what you think. Within the slim P30 smartphones, Huawei has added a new, nifty periscope telephoto lens that allows you to magnify important details on the camera without sacrificing image quality. The SuperZoom Lens offers up to&nbsp;5 times optical zoom, 10 times hybrid zoom and&nbsp;even 50 times digital zoom &mdash; you know, for if&nbsp;you ever want to take a closer look at the moon.

While the&nbsp;SuperZoom lens&nbsp;makes the details&nbsp;that matter&nbsp;extra sharp, the new&nbsp;Time of Flight (TOF) camera lets you blur out those that don&#39;t. The camera, which is exclusive&nbsp;to the P30 Pro, precisely measures the depth of field and allows you to focus on a certain subject (down to their hair strands), while rendering everything else with a professional-level bokeh &mdash; not much different from the kind you&#39;ve&nbsp;seen on Leica photographs.&nbsp;

Finally, the cherry on top: the Dual-View mode. This is sure to be a handy&nbsp;feature for Youtubers or anyone looking to up their game on their Instagram stories. In Dual-View mode, you can record from both&nbsp;of the rear cameras at the same time, allowing you to capture an ultra-wide angle clip and a close-up video of a moment. Talk about different perspectives.

The Huawei&nbsp;P30 Series will be available&nbsp;from Saturday, 6 April, at all Huawei Concept Stores, local telecommunication operators, selected consumer electronic stores, authorised mobile retailers and selected online marketplaces, with prices starting at $998 (Huawei P30)&nbsp;and S$1,398 (Huawei P30 Pro).&nbsp;
