The new collection reprises classic house codes, including the Medusa head, Barocco patterns, Greek key motifs, vintage logos, and the viral Jungle print

You are never too young to have #style, or so says Versace. The Italian label has just unveiled the new Spring/Summer 2020 collection for children, and honestly, it&rsquo;s enough to make you wish you were a kid again. But since time travel is not (yet) a possibility, you&rsquo;ll have to settle for the next best option: making your young one the trendiest tyke around.

In a nod to the runway, the latest pint-sized pieces rework classic codes and seasonal prints with a light-hearted and playful touch. The signature Medusa emblem, representing power and beauty, is scattered liberally throughout the collection on t-shirts, hoodies, belts, sneakers, and the like, her golden visage contrasted by shades of pink, blue, white, and black. Vintage Versace logos from the &lsquo;90s mingle with psychedelic tie-dye and cartoon sketches on denim, sweaters, track pants, and bags (for toys, naturally), while Gianni Versace&rsquo;s handwritten signature is revived in tribute to the late icon.

Barocco prints abound in varying interpretations on mix-and-match separates and shoes, ranging from the ornate Barocco Signature to the frenzied Savage Barocco to the quirky <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/wild-wild-west-versace-cruise-2020">Western Barocco&nbsp;</a>and the heritage Le Pop Classique. Greek key motifs meander across waistbands, trouser legs, and shoe buckles, marking out even the simplest designs as being unmistakably Versace.

And thanks to this season&rsquo;s juvenile <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/jungle-fever-get-like-jlo-with-versace">Jungle</a> capsule, you can take the phrase &ldquo;like mother like daughter&rdquo; (or &ldquo;like father like son&rdquo;) literally and go twinsies with your tot. The viral tropical print, made famous by none other than <a href="https://www.lofficielsingapore.com/fashion/jlo-versace-ad-ss20">J.Lo</a>, now features on a selection of casual cotton items, special occasion outfits, and beach-ready swimwear, so the whole family can answer the call of the wild.
